Description of problem: I have tested Mageia10 alpha1 plasma (usbstick with persistent partition) Everything went well : everything is recognized and usable I have 2 screens one monitor one HDMI TV By default the display is spreaded over the two (with a correct resolution for both of them) 1) I want to use my TV as a clone of the monitor I launch the plasma System settings and modify the display configuration this way I apply this => OK BUT I can't quit plasma System settings : no x cross in the window frame of the default theme used no quit menu any where in the plasma System settings window I change the default setting to use other theme (oxygen) and window decoration (oxygen) and apply (that induces no change) To conclude this part : there's no way to quit plasma System settings with the default theme and window decoration 2) I try to quit Mageia with the stop button of the Mageia menu and confirm with the stop button appearing in the middle of the screen Nothing happens except a totally grey screen I try ctrl + alt + del that brings again the stop button I click on it nothing happens except a totally grey screen After having waited some minutes I need to manually stop the computer when the live plasma alpha1 is used for the first time... To conclude this part : the stop button doesn't stop the computer 3) If I boot again from the usb stick, it starts quickly with the modifications applied with plasma System settings The window of plasma System settings has now a x cross button and I can quit it normally To conclude this part : The computer can be stopped with the stop button when the Mageia Live plasma alpha1 is used for the second time (all the previous settings are preserved in the persistent partition)

Post scriptum Besides these 2 problems, it's maybe the better Mageia Live Plasma I ever used graphical card default screens configuration soundcard ethernet card wacom tablet camera I forgot to test the HP printer : if there's a problem I will open a new bug : for Mageia9 there was a problem of conflict with ipp-usb preventing the use of HP Device Manager (hplip-gui) I needed to uninstall ipp-usb !!!

Maybe should I create 2 different bug reports so that they may be easily be assigned - one : for the problem of plasma used in Live iso : the default config of the title bar of the windows inside the CCM and the title bar of the windows in Plasma System Settings do not have any close button or menu button (Maybe this is for David GEIGER (davidavid) - the second : for the stop button in Mageia Menu that doesn't stop Mageia and when the Live iso has been updated stops Mageia but does not stop the computer itself which boots again from the USB stick (is it plasma specific ? or does this concern the Mageia Menu itself ?)

Please test again next ISO release when it gets official. You may want to join QA to test unofficial ISOs
