Description of problem: Before the recent update to Libreoffice 7.2.2.2, detached tool bars could be readily moved. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): release 1.mga8 x86_64 How reproducible: see below Steps to Reproduce: 1. detach a tool bar (unlock tool bars if not already the case) 2. move it with the moise from the initial menu position, to another location, and release the mouse button. 3. try to move the tool bar again, with the mouse. The tool bar sometimes moves briefly, to quickly return to where it was. Please note : this was reproduceable on versions downloaded from upstream. A bug report to upstream (https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=145287) showed that it does not affect ms windows versions. Feedback from a user testing on Linux says it is related to gtk3. So it may be the problem lies with gtk3, or to a change in how libreoffice now uses gtk3. Which is why I am now reporting it here.
Thank you for the report, and the upstream bug ref. If & when that gets dealt with, can you please remove the UPSTSREAM Keyword on *this* Mageia bug, to unblock it. This will end up with Thierry, so provisionally assigning it to him pending that event.

I did not try in 7.2.2.2, but it works for me in 7.2.3.2-1, from updates_testing - note it is not considered ready for QA yet. Also see our other open bug for LO: bug 29647 I am using Plasma desktop. Bottom line: Fix seem to be in its way :)

@Morgan Thanks for the positive feedback .. However upstream 7.3.0.0 has the same symptoms on my system as 7.2.2.2. (I installed it in parallel.) With the Mate desktop, I have the gtk3 version of libreoffice installed. With Plasma you would probably have the kf5 version installed, which from comments upsteam is likely not affected. Also I found that your version of Libo is in cauldron, and gave an error when I tried to install it on my mga8. Maybe the other bug for LO is related to gtk3 as well ?
Ah problems together with gtk3 :( No the other bug i do see on Plasma. For the version i run, it is in .../mageia/distrib/8/x86_64/media/core/updates_testing/
Summary: libreoffice 7.2.2.2 no longer allows moving detached tool bars => libreoffice since 7.2.2.2 no longer allows moving detached tool bars (gtk3)
