Description of problem: In Plasma 5 systemsettings5, in Theme section, there is 2 "Breeze" Theme. Which is Mageia theme? Selecting whatever "Breeze" after selecting "Breeze Dark" and apply results in Default Plasma 5 Breeze "Light" with title bar in grey rather in blue after installation. Also KSplash is default Breeze animation after manipulating theme. How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Mga8a1 Classic Install Iso. with Plasma 5 desktop and Update all packages. 2. Select what other theme in Systemsettings5 3. Select back to whatever "Breeze" theme results of lost Mageia branding. Therefore, Kickoff is still with Mageia logo...

Created attachment 11947 [details] Color Under title is wrong since 5.20 Since Plasma Workspace 5.20, some KCM in systemsettings5 have wrong colors under title. See attached screenshot. This affects by default created user. Workaround: change theme in systemsettings5 > Global Theme > Breeze Dark and Go back after to Breeze. But as previously mentioned, Mageia theme in Plasma (ie) splash, screenlocker theme, blue color for active window title are definitively gone.

mageia-plasma5-config-8-1.mga8.src.rpm Update: theme by Mageia is visible BUT it is not selectable in Plasma systemsettings5. The issue is still here: if user switches to Dark Breeze (for example), he can't go back to the Mageia theme and he gets a Light Breeze with Grey Title Bar, the QML splash screen is the KDE one, not the Mageia branding one.

Hi all, Works for me with the last update. Greetings!!
Hi again... The plasma theme change, but the sddm and welcome screen are of Plasma theme. The sddm and welcome screen of Mageia have desappeared. Greetings!
Hi The login screen is the Mageia one with the new wallpaper after a fresh install on a laptop. No issue then. I have not tried to change it and to reselect it. I have read this back and forth selection has caused issues.
With new version, The Mageia theme is selectable. Great. But: - the Active window color is still Grey (default Breeze theme, not Blue) - the KSplah Mageia theme is not activated, it is still Plasma (Black screen with the K in centre. ... Workaround: in systemsettings5 => Startup and Shutdown => Splash Screen : Click on Default button.

The same issue that comment 13. Default button in systemsettings5 have worked for me. Now appears the Mageia Welcome screen.
(In reply to Jose Manuel López from comment #14) > The same issue that comment 13. Default button in systemsettings5 have > worked for me. Now appears the Mageia Welcome screen. That workaround worked for me too.

Hello. I started using Mageia 8 (PT-BR) this week, my system is up-to-date and I have the same problem as comment 1. Version: "mageia-plasma5-config-8-5.mga8.noarch" In addition to the title bar not going back to the Mageia's blue ... I noticed another problem. How reproducible (Aways): systemsettings5 => Global Theme => apply "Breeze Dark". The bar below the title bar that says "global theme" will remain white, changing only the font color. Workaround: systemsettings5 => Colors => set "Breeze" and set "Breeze Dark" again. In this way, the bar below the title bar will have the color updated correctly. This happens with the "Classic Installation", on the notebook and on the Virtual Machine on another PC.

Created attachment 12712 [details] Changing Global Theme doesn't update bar color Applying any Global Theme, the bar below the title bar doesn't change the background color. Workaround: systemsettings5 => Colors => apply "Breeze" and apply "Breeze Dark" again. In this way, the bar below the title bar will have the color updated correctly. Mageia 8 Plasma 5.20.4 (pt-br) Version: "mageia-plasma5-config-8-5.mga8.noarch"
Created attachment 12713 [details] One of the problems was solved by selecting few package groups and English language My 2 comments above were a "classic installation" (Full Plasma Environment) with PT-BR language on VM. Now, I did a "classic installation" with English language on VM, but selecting only the groups "console tools", "documentation" and "configuration", and there are a few different things: (see attached image). 1. There is now a Global Theme "Mageia my Breeze"; 2. There is no problem with the bar below the title bar; 3. Change the Global Theme, the title bar still doesn't return to Blue Mageia. I hope my reports are useful
for the ksplash problem, I modified the file /usr/share/plasma/look-and-feel/org.mageia.breeze.desktop/metadata.json changing line "Id": "org.kde.mageia.breeze.desktop", to "Id": "org.mageia.breeze.desktop", and I was able to select mageia splash screen and play the preview correctly.
