Confirmed for drakx-net-0.97-1.mga1.rpm

In fact, when running /usr/bin/net_applet from the command line, the reason why nothing happens is shown right away on the console:

Can't locate ctxhelp.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib/libDrakX /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.14.1/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.14.1 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.14.1/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.14.1 /usr/lib/perl5/5.14.1/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/5.14.1 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.14.0 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.14.0/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.12.3 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.12.2 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl .) at /usr/bin/drakhelp line 12.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/bin/drakhelp line 12.

However, trying to find the missing file by running that command:
   urpmf ctxhelp.pm
did not give any result.
Maybe this perl module is simply not part of any package?...

@ Barry
I'm using Mageia 1 at this moment, it is still an issue in 1.
What about current cauldron, is the bug still there?

Yes, it's still the same in Cauldron.

We can't use the Mandriva documentation because of licensing issues. So that documentation among others has to be written new.

You are of corse welcome to help.

I see nothing in here to prohibit us using it :-

The underlying cause is the same, that's correct
