Description Valek Saikov 2013-05-05 19:27:15 CEST
Description of problem:
Found a bug. Seen two people on the intel and AMD.

Control Center-> Hardware-> Search and adjustment of the equipment

Webcam on the list twice. RAM shows the cache instead of the size of the processor. It seems that there is a complete mess with SATA-controller (at least with Intel's) and multimedia devices.

Mageia 3 RC full update

nothing critical, it's only the gui which is buggy

Assigning to harddrake2's maintainer.

(In reply to Valek Saikov from comment #0)

> RAM shows the cache instead of the size of the processor.

meant: instead of the size of the memory.

Actually there's already bug 5810 about this RAM issue.

Leaving this bug report open for the webcam double listed and the "complete mess with SATA-controller".

Valek, could you provide the output of lspcidrake -v?

Comment 5 Thierry Vignaud 2015-05-07 10:53:29 CEST
That's a small issue

Can you try this patch?
It should fix the webcam listed in unknown.

Also we really need the output of "lspcidrake -v" (attach it ; do not paste it)

fix listing AHCI as SATA

I suspect the issue is that AHCI is no more compiled as a module but as a built-in
Comment 9 Valek Saikov 2015-05-07 11:11:16 CEST
I can afford, but you need more? I already Mageia 5 RC
Comment 10 Thierry Vignaud 2015-05-07 11:12:12 CEST
Just checked the AHCI fix, it's OK.

Not sure I understand what you mean, but yes we need the output of "lspcidrake -v" from Mageia 5 RC.
