Description of problem: Testing Mageia-3-RC-dual-CD.iso. Selecting supplemental network http media (and enabling the additional repositories that result) ends with "and error occurred - basesystem package not selected". I saw bug 9611 which is very similar but against different installation media (DVD instead of dual CD). Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): mga3-RC How reproducible: Choose to use additional media during installation. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Accept license and default keyboard setup 2. Set up partitions 3. Choose to use additional media. This installs 221 packages to get network up. 4. Choose wired network and take defaults 5. Choose US -> dacentec.com as additional media 6. Do not choose any additional media 7. Enable all resulting repositories (core nonfree tainted updates etc) 8. Accept default KDE installation 9. an error occurred - basesystem package not selected I went back and changed step 8 to Custom and picked packages like I most often do with no change in result. I still ended up with the basesystem error. Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:
I can confirm this problem on dual-arch iso At stage 5 I chose the United Kingdom server - http All other stages are identical
