I really don't know - it's second page which opens when you launch Firefox. So probably it may be indexhtml but I'm not sure which kind of black magic is used here :-)

if you type /usr/share/indexhtml/index.html in the address bar where does it go ? 
(and what is your language ?)

The issue is that Mageia Community page opens in English, not in Estonian, as it would be nice (first page, that welcomes Firefox new user, opens in Estonian).

Typing /usr/share/indexhtml/index.html in address bar goes to Estonian community page, as it should. But one more time - it does not happen when you first launch Firefox - then it is same page in English.

indexhtml/index.html now always:
 * redirects to http://start.mageia.org/
 * which in turn, for the moment, redirects to http://www.mageia.org/community/ (see http://svnweb.mageia.org/adm/puppet/deployment/websites/manifests/start.pp?revision=2773&view=markup)
 * which in turn, redirects to the existing locale, normally (see http://svnweb.mageia.org/web/www/trunk/community/index.php?revision=1068&view=markup)

So if something does not work here, it may be that:
 * there's a bug in community/index.php
 * your browser Accept-Language header is set to English (or not),
 * something still unknown (yummy!)

Maybe I should state that in my case it happened with Live DVD and with first opening of Firefox (clicking on the icon in quick start bar or whatever that part on taskbar is named). As it is continuation of the BR #7424 Firefox itself is now in Estonian and so the Firefox welocme page but not the other pager which opens, which is Mageia community page. So probably not the second option - then all the Firefox should still be in English, shouldn't it?

I guess so, yes. Could you test and report http://www.mageia.org/test/lang.php here so I can cross it out?

Goes to localized, i.e. Estonian community page.

(Just for information - I tried also Konqueror, which opens just/usr/share/indexhtml/index.html and that's all, no redirection at all - but it's probably worth of another BR).

Ok, it's the same code that's run in both ends, so it's something else in the start.mageia.org => mageia.org/community => mageia.org/et/community chain that's broken... :-/

Still there in Beta 2 - when I run Live DVD and open Firefox, first page which is for Firefox introduction page is translated but the second one for Mageia Community page is still in English.

In Beta 4 I noticed that Firefox did open only Community page and it was translated. So, the problem seems to be that on the first run ONLY the first opened page will be translated (provided that there is a translation) and not the other page(s). Which is so weird I can't even imagine why it is so :_)

Just made a test with Mageia-5-beta3-LiveDVD-KDE4-x86_64-DVD.iso and at the estonian live session both Firefox start pages were in estonian.
