Description Bit Twister 2012-01-18 19:42:25 CET
Description of problem:
Ctrl+Alt+Delete and reboot do not reboot system in runlevel3

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. clean install of Mageia-2-alpha3-x86_64-DVD.iso
2. Apply updates
3. set runlevel3, remove splash=whatever from menu.lst and reboot
4. log in as root
5. enter command reboot

As a user,
login
hit ctl+Delete
hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete

Work around:
Quickly hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete two or more times.

This does not help the reboot problem when you are remotely logged in
or issue the reboot command in a script. :(
