Description Morgan Leijström 2026-01-08 18:42:39 CET
Starting this as a split from Bug 32813 for kernel 6.6.
See there for ideas.

Regarding openafs, the version 1.8.15, which is not released yet, will support kernel 6.17. The support of kernel 6.18 is in development.

Comment 2 Morgan Leijström 2026-01-21 19:34:41 CET
Should we update something in Mageia 9 for backport 6.18 kernel?
Comment 3 Nicolas Salguero 2026-03-14 14:33:15 CET
openafs-1.8.15-1.mga10, which include some upstream patches post release of version 1.8.15, should support kernel 6.18. To test if support for kernel 6.18 is good, we need to install dkms-openafs and see if it builds correctly.

I asked for a freeze move.
