Description :) 2011-11-26 18:51:24 CET
Description of problem:

In the default install of Magiea 2 Alpha 1, under configure for a wireless network in drakconnect, the box labeled 'allow interface to be controlled by Network Manager' is checked by default. This caused my wireless network interface to be unable to connect. After removing the check from the selection box, my wireless interface worked as expected.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

1.0-1.mga2

How reproducible:

Install Magiea 2 Alpha 1 and try to connect to a wireless network. Configure the network and look at the option boxes which are checked.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Magiea 2 Alpha 1
2. Attempt to connect to a Wifi network
3. Uncheck option to allow Network Manager to manage interface before being allowed to connect.

Pinging, because nothing has happened with this report for more than 3 months, it still has the status NEW or REOPENED.

I think this wasn't default when I installed Mga2b1 (KDE only)
