BTW, if you want to get higher score in glmark2, you might try to run under gamesmoderun (installing the package gamesmode), e.g.: gamesmoderun <application> sometimes gives just a little boost (especially on intel and nvidia), sometimes huge (e.g. on Radeon 780M), and sometimes even negative (e.g. if you are running on batteries).
(In reply to Giuseppe Ghibò from comment #15) > BTW, if you want to get higher score in glmark2, you might try to run under > gamesmoderun (installing the package gamesmode), e.g.: > > gamesmoderun <application> > > sometimes gives just a little boost (especially on intel and nvidia), > sometimes huge (e.g. on Radeon 780M), and sometimes even negative (e.g. if > you are running on batteries). I'm not concerned about it, as long as I can do what I do - my day-to-day needs are modest. I run it mostly to compare before and after an update, looking for a major change one way or the other as an indicator of something that might need your attention.
(In reply to Giuseppe Ghibò from comment #15) > gamesmoderun (installing the package gamesmode) Interesting tweak. (BTW, typo: there is no s in package nor command.) Opened Bug 33696 - gamemode update and info request Please head over there for follow up.
