Tested DVD 64 with EFI in vbox. Using custom partitioning I cleared the disk and created a partition. There are icons missing on several of the resulting items. Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:

This isn't something we can fix after release and affects confidence in the installer so tempted to set as a lower severity release blocker. WDYT?

You can try Cauldron once your favorite mirror has this morning's installer (16.62). Check install/stage2/VERSION eg: http://distrib-coffee.ipsl.jussieu.fr/pub/linux/Mageia/distrib/cauldron/x86_64/install/stage2/VERSION (not yet up to date)

There are other [closed] variants on this bug than that cited in Comment 8, including one I raised but cannot find now. Mageia 5 first RC Classic x64 ISO on real EFI/GPT hardware with 1920x1080 screen: Both the following problems are carried forward from Mageia 5 Beta3. 1) At the first Disc partitioning screen, the Help & Next buttons are still hidden below-screen. 2) Choosing Custom partitioning, & selecting a partition, the necessary mount point, FS type etc buttons are still not visible at all. This makes the ISO un-installable, hence for me Release Blocker.

This bug is for missing icons Lewis. I think your issue is more like what dvg is seeing too in bug 14839. I think we should reopen that one but I'm aware other similar bugs exist too which may be more appropriate.
