Description of problem: I opened cinnamon-menu-editor to manually add a shortcut for a newer FF-version to the start-menu, but as I clicked on the button "New Item" nothing happened. I therefor ran cinnamon-menu-editor in a terminal & saw this error as I reproduced this issue:

How reproducible: Everytime.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open cinnamon-desktop-editor from terminal.
2. Click on the Internet-symbol.
3. Now click on the New Item-button.
4. Voila! Nothing happens and the above mentioned error appears instead.
