The "draklive-install" program crashed. Drakbug-16.26.7 caught it. I am installing mageia 4 for x86_64 from live CD (actually copied to an USB pen), on an ASUS transformer TRIO TX201L I followed the instructions for UEFI boot devices on https://wiki.mageia.org/en/UEFI_how-to When I got to the boot install screen, I opened a terminal and executed: $su - #chroot /mnt/install #urpmi grub2-efi (and accepted removing grub2 to install new version) #exit #exit $exit Then I selected grub2 as boot loader , to install on /dev/sda continued instalation, and got the current error. grub2-install failed: EFI distributor id isn't specified. ...propagated at /usr/lib/libDrakX/any.pm line 263.
