Using GNOME fallback mode, the current sound volume, battery status, and bluetooth status are displayed in the panel notification area. When using the default Adwaita theme, they are displayed in black on a black background, making them invisible. This bug appears to have been fixed upstream: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=690353 Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:

Testing mga3 64 I haven't been able to reproduce this. used gnome-tweak-tool to set the theme used to adwaita and logged out/in again. Tried both gnome classic and gnome. Installing the update (from kde) shows a warning (bug 10822) which I believe is harmless. Preparing... 1/3: lib64panel-applet4_0 2/3: lib64panel-applet-gir4.0 3/3: gnome-panel 1/3: removing gnome-panel-3.6.2-2.mga3.x86_64 2/3: removing lib64panel-applet-gir4.0-3.6.2-2.mga3.x86_64 3/3: removing lib64panel-applet4_0-3.6.2-2.mga3.x86_64 warning: undefined reference to <schema id='org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.updates'/>
Testing complete mga3 64. No regressions noticed after the update.

MGA3-32-OK for me In VirtualBox and GNOME Packages under test: gnome-panel [root@localhost wilcal]# urpmi gnome-panel Package gnome-panel-3.6.2-2.mga3.i586 is already installed In fallback mode I see the sound, network up and Ethernet connection icons in panel notification area. Install updates from core updates_testing [root@localhost wilcal]# urpmi gnome-panel Package gnome-panel-3.6.2-2.1.mga3.i586 is already installed In fallback mode I see the sound, network up and Ethernet connection icons in panel notification area. As Claire saw in 64-bit I don't see any regressions noticed after the update. Probably ok to push this update.
