to build it you will need qt4-linguist package probably and make the symlink for qt4 qmake and lrelease in /usr/bin also i've set the -DWITHOUT_EMBEDDED_DISPLAY=y setting and actually it would be better to have a KVM module installed there can be an error with icons i've installed into /usr/local so the /usr/local/share/aqemu is set but it searches for /usr/share/aqemu/ icons.rcc so this can be avoided well at least it works now on my system.
to install it with vnc, i've installed lib64gtk-vnc2 +devel gtk-vnc-i18n lib64gvnc1 +dev lib64vncserver0 +dev tigervnc not sure if all this is needed mostly this should be just a server dev lib
but i got errors on compiling with vncserver, maybe will resolve it later
For now you can use the rpm here: http://ftp.blogdrake.net/mageia/mageia3/free/x86_64/aqemu-0.8.0-04bdk.mga3.x86_64.rpm
