I have added a mirror located at http://ftp.linux.org.tr/mageia and it was correctly scanned. I have waited for two days but still the download redirector does not redirect to the mirror, nor it is listed in the "other mirrors" list. Can you check the status? If there is a problem with the mirror itself, I would promptly fix it.
because it's a static list
Component: mirrors.mageia.org => www.mageia.orgAssignee: sysadmin-bugs => mageia-webteam
It's not completely a static list. It used to be frequently updated from mirrors.mageia.org list. But for a few weeks, there have been several issues that now prevents us to sync without heavy manual changes in the list. In short, www.m.o needs a way to retrieve working and up-to-date mirrors that provide ISOs downloads through either HTTP or FTP. It's become rather difficult to do so these days, now that some mirrors that do not provide ISOs are listed in mirrors.m.o but have no flag to warn about this (and some non-working mirrors were left in the list for several weeks too). (search for bugs for mirrors.mageia.org component in Bugzilla).

I added linux.org.tr to the cached list. Romain, is the script witch should updates the list somewhere in the svn ?
(In reply to Manuel Hiebel from comment #3) > Romain, is the script witch should updates the list somewhere in the svn ? I just added tools/update-mirrors-list.php, that you can run locally to update the list, which you can push online then (and I pushed a fully updated list at the same time).
ah thanks, didn't see it was in Download.php
It was far from obvious. You don't need to touch lib/Download.php anymore, just run the update script, and the list is updated (you'll need to push it then; or manually edit it if you need to remove something there, although getting bug 2846 and bug 6028 fixed may remove the need to). Btw. The mirror is in the list now.
