Description Manuel Hiebel 2012-12-30 00:49:37 CET
Description of problem:

So as the live copy all rpms which are on the media, both grub and grub2 are installed.
Currently having both of them make the update for grub1 not working (see bug 8463).

Beside this other bug, maybe it would be better to keep only the one used by the user no ?

What about current pre-Mga6?
Thomas, you should just drop grub from draklive as it wont work with newly formatted ext4 & xfs file systems anyway...

Comment 4 Thomas Backlund 2016-06-11 10:15:46 CEST
yeah, I think it will happend automatically now that we switched to grub2 on new installs according to "preferred bootloader"

On installs up to mga5 grub legacy got added because of "preferred bootloader" and grub2 got installed if user choose the grub2 option, but that dont remove grub legacy
Comment 5 Thomas Backlund 2016-06-11 18:35:54 CEST
Yeah, in last build I dont have lilo or grub legacy on the iso
