The above fix is incorrect. The problem is that there is no authentication agent running under these desktops, but this should be fixed now in Mageia 4 as we use mate-polkit agent under these lightweight desktops that do not provide sufficient infrastructure by themselves for a modern desktop (or at least have a confused approach to it - but then that's our job - to put together the missing pieces!) Resolving as fixed as I believe it is now fixed.
