Description Andrew 2012-04-10 04:07:20 CEST
Description of problem:

The "Individual Package Selection" of "Package Group Selection" in "Software Management" of Installer is not user-friendly. Info panel doesn't give any useful description of the selected package needed in order to decide whether I want it or not - only displaying its name, version, size and importance (rather vaguely at that with everything classified as either "very nice" or "must have" - including optional games such as Frozen Bubble listed as "Must Have"

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Mageia 2 Cauldron Beta 2

How reproducible:

Upon electing to perform Individual Package Selection.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select "Custom" on the "Desktop Selection" screen in Installer.
2. Check "Individual Package Selection" on the "Package Group Selection" screen.
3. Select any package and view info to notice missing descriptions.
