Description Martin Whitaker 2012-03-25 21:35:55 CEST
I'm using Gnome3 in fallback mode (selecting Gnome Classic in the GDM session type menu). I have the Adwaita GTK+ theme selected (using gnome-tweak-tool) and have selected an alternative desktop background through the System Settings tool. After updating my beta 2 system today, neither of these settings are observed. The theme used looks to be Oxygen-gtk, and doesn't change regardless of what is selected in gnome-tweak-tool. The background used is the default blue stripes wallpaper, and again doesn't change regardless of what is selected.

A number of icons are missing as well.

This bug appeared immediately after doing an update. Previously
gnome-desktop3-3.3.91-1.mga2 was installed, which didn't show this problem.

This was possibly a side effect of bug 5098. It has been fixed by the latest update (gnome-desktop3-3.4.0-1.mga2).
