Description of problem: # /usr/sbin/XFdrake Click Graphic Card Shows Radeon HD 2000 and Later (radeon/fglrx) click Ok The program 'XFdrake' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadWindow'. (Details: serial 45695 error_code 3 request_code 151 minor_code 3) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) # Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Clean Mageia-2-beta2-x86_64-DVD.iso install + updates + radeon-firmware + kernel-firmware-nonfree-20120219-1 and reboot 2. default runlevel is 3 3. click up a terminal (I am using xterm) 4. su - root 5. /usr/sbin/XFdrake 6. Click Graphic Card 7. Shows Radeon HD 2000 and Later (radeon/fglrx) 8. click Ok Worked fine with beta1 iso.

(In reply to comment #3) > Seems to be fixed with oxygen-gtk 1.2.1 (reverted). Please test Hmmm, all updates applied and system rebooted, still broke here.
because you still use the old one, you need to manually revert in your system ( we reverted to the old version )

If someone can debug totem you might find the culprit faster. $ totem (totem:3773): Gtk-WARNING **: Theme parsing error: gtk.css:58:46: Unknown value 'GTK_SHADOW_NONE' for enum type 'GtkShadowType' (totem:3773): GVFS-RemoteVolumeMonitor-WARNING **: remote volume monitor with dbus name org.gtk.Private.UDisks2VolumeMonitor is not supported Here I clicked a .flv file and it crashed. Same with a .mpg file. (totem:3773): Gdk-ERROR **: The program 'totem' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)'. To debug your program, run it with the GDK_SYNCHRONIZE environment variable to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) /usr/bin/dragon crashed first time I played a .flv, next launch worked.

Hello, I encounter the same problem with the configuration of the boot (grub) and the configuration of the graphical boot (automatic connection) Yves

latest kernel, fglrx rpms knocked my radeon/ati video frame rate from 175 back to 30 FPS. :( Unable to use XFdrake to manage settings. :(

Guessing latest release of oxygen-gtk has fixed the problem. XFdrake now works on my 64 bit host and on 32 and 64 bit VirtualBox guests. If other window/screens are broke like comment 9 a new bug report should be opened.
