Description clate McGehee 2011-12-31 22:19:41 CET
Description of problem: If the Oxygen theme is set on Mageia 2 Alpha 2 then certain programs would not start (Firefox, MCC, etc.) If the theme is removed for another theme then everything will begin to work perfectly again.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Advanced settings
2. Click Theme
3. Select Oxygen-gtk as GTK+ theme

Terminal displays this error when attempting to open Firefox while Oxygen is set

[clate@localhost ~]$ firefox

Thank you for correcting my mistakes with the filing of this bug.

At least one other person has had this issue under Gnome 3. I have reproduced it multiple times (on 2 different systems). But I am sure you know more of these things than me. I will let you handle it the way you feel best. I will be checking in on the comments if you need any more information.

I think this one is old.
We now have a newer oxygen and apps should work with it

Comment 6 clate McGehee 2012-02-08 02:59:33 CET
Has there been a new version within the last month? If not the issue may still exists.
Comment 7 Juan Luis Baptiste 2012-02-08 03:13:41 CET
Yes, last version is from Jan 18, and patched to fix another bug in MCC on Feb 1.
