Description Rémy CLOUARD (shikamaru) 2011-03-14 19:58:21 CET
Description of problem:
With the latest version of rpmlint-mandriva-policy, arch dependant packages get rejected with the following message:
- non-standard-group Development/Debug

These groups are automatically assigned during package build so packages are likely to fail except noarch packages

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
0.2.8-1.mga1

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. mgarepo submit package (take an arch dependant one)
2. see the buildsystem reject it

Oups, indeed, I installed it to check a rpm ( urpmi ), and didn't see it would cause trouble.

Comment 2 Michael Scherer 2011-03-14 20:46:45 CET
I removed it from valstar for the moment, sorry about the disturbtion.
Comment 3 Nicolas Vigier 2011-03-14 20:47:48 CET
I fixed it by adding the group in /usr/share/rpmlint/config.d/mandriva.conf.
Comment 4 Nicolas Vigier 2011-03-14 20:49:32 CET
But I didn't know why it was working before, that was because rpmlint-mandriva-policy was not installed.
Comment 5 Michael Scherer 2011-03-14 20:55:37 CET
I also committed a fix for that on our rpmlint-mageia-policy ( http://svnweb.mageia.org/packages?view=revision&revision=71384 )
Comment 6 D Morgan 2011-03-15 08:59:45 CET
closing as this is now fixed in mageia.
