Sometimes after suspend-resume, there is no wifi / My daughter had the same problem with this computer when she had it, using Windows 10: after sleeping, it sometimes had to be rebooted for wifi... So some machine quirk probably. Yes we have updated to latest available "BIOS" firmware (checked autumn, old machine) But anyway, hoping we can get it working in Mageia :-) / When it fails, there are every three seconds in system journal: feb 10 11:16:54 hp1.tribun kernel: rtw88_8822be 0000:01:00.0: failed to poll offset=0x5 mask=0x2 value=0x0 feb 10 11:16:54 hp1.tribun kernel: rtw88_8822be 0000:01:00.0: mac power on failed feb 10 11:16:54 hp1.tribun kernel: rtw88_8822be 0000:01:00.0: failed to power on mac If I press the keyboard key "Airplane mode" it stops. Pressing again, the repeated lines continues. In both cases same output here: [morgan@hp1 ~]$ LC_ALL=C sudo rfkill ID TYPE DEVICE SOFT HARD 1 wlan phy0 unblocked unblocked 2 bluetooth hci0 unblocked unblocked Even when I removed the wifi interface in MCC, the three lines in journal keeps coming. And problem not solved when adding that interface again. Machine needs to be rebooted. I would like to try if hibernating-restore wakes the wifi up, but that is broken, Bug 35113.
