Description Morgan Leijström 2025-09-06 11:53:24 CEST
Example: Bug 34604
It was displaying correctly, but after I posted c7, all comments are several browser windows wide!
- you have to scroll *far* right to read long lines, and to click comment links.

I have seen this in a couple other bugs too during last months.
Appearance is the same in Firefox ESR, Chromium, Falkon.

It's a duplicate of bug 34432

This has nothing to do with bug 34604 comment 7. This has to do with bug 34604 comment 0 which has a very long line of \0.

You seem to be correct - when clicking [-] in 34604 comment 0 right top corner, to fold the comment, everything is correcly displayed.

Strange I did not notice until after I entered 34604 comment 7...

Is it that one really?

All Bugzilla pages which are broken on mobile browsers, are also broken on desktop version. So root cause seems the same.

Another example bug 26214

Do all pages that display bad on mobile devices also show this problem in desktop browsers?

Hi Morgan,

For information, I did notice indeed that comments are too wide and I need to horizontally scroll in order to see them...

Hi Morgan,

A nasty side effect of these comments that are too wide is if the person is not used to bugzilla (I am one of them), it is not trivial to find the way to reply to a comment since it is hidden on the right side.
