Thanks for your work on this. Can we assume they are in nonfree/updates_testing? Assuming 'yes', assigning to QA.

I'm not seeing the dkms packages for this version (570.172.08-2.mga9). Is this correct?

No thanks for spotting the dkms package is there (e.g.: https://distrib-coffee.ipsl.jussieu.fr/pub/linux/Mageia/distrib/9/x86_64/media/nonfree/updates_testing/dkms-nvidia-current-570.172.08-2.mga9.nonfree.x86_64.rpm I just missed to add dkms-nvidia-current-570.172.08-2.mga9.nonfree.x86_64.rpm to the list.
I tested this driver and it works great. With Kernel 6.14 works beautiful With Kernel 6.15 and 6.16 rc6 it fails I only get continues text with the mesage: NVRM: GPU 0000:01:00:0 Is already bound to NoveCore I wonder if nvidia-newfeature works with my RTX 2060 Regards $ inxi -MCG Machine: Type: Desktop Mobo: Gigabyte model: X670 AORUS ELITE AX serial: <superuser required> UEFI: American Megatrends LLC. v: F34 date: 05/23/2025 CPU: Info: 8-core model: AMD Ryzen 7 7700 bits: 64 type: MT MCP cache: L2: 8 MiB Speed (MHz): avg: 3021 min/max: 545/5392 cores: 1: 3021 2: 3021 3: 3021 4: 3021 5: 3021 6: 3021 7: 3021 8: 3021 9: 3021 10: 3021 11: 3021 12: 3021 13: 3021 14: 3021 15: 3021 16: 3021 Graphics: Device-1: NVIDIA TU106 [GeForce RTX 2060 Rev. Installed and tested without issue. Tested for about four hours of laptop usage. Tested: - Plasma DE effects; - glxgears (OpenGL); - vkcube (Vulkan); - glmark2; - Firefox plus WegGL examples; All ok. No functionality issues. There was a glmark2 score drop of about a 3% percent, compared to the previous version, but that is probably due to the high ambient temperature. Will retest later in a cooler environment. MGA9-64 Plasma. Before beginning this test, the nvidia-newfeature driver from Bug 34475 was installed. inxi -CG CPU: Info: quad core model: Intel Core i5-7500 bits: 64 type: MCP cache: L2: 1024 KiB Speed (MHz): avg: 800 min/max: 800/3800 cores: 1: 800 2: 800 3: 800 4: 800 Graphics: Device-1: NVIDIA GM107GL [Quadro K620] driver: nvidia v: 570.172.08 Display: wayland server: X.Org v: 22.1.9 with: Xwayland v: 22.1.9 compositor: kwin_wayland driver: X: loaded: nvidia,v4l gpu: nvidia,nvidia-nvswitch resolution: 1920x1080~60Hz API: EGL v: 1.5 drivers: nvidia, swrast platforms: gbm,wayland,x11,surfaceless,device API: OpenGL v: 4.6.0 compat-v: 4.5 vendor: nvidia mesa v: 570.172.08 renderer: Quadro K620/PCIe/SSE2 API: Vulkan v: 1.3.231 drivers: nvidia, llvmpipe surfaces: xcb, xlib, wayland Used QA repo to download the packages under test, then used drakx11 from MCC to switch from newfeature to current. I then used MCC to install the nvidia-current-cuda-opencl package, and rebooted into an x11 session. Everything looks good - Firefox, vlc, Google Earth Pro. Logged into Wayland and it mostly OK, but with the now typical jerkines and artifacts that seem to plague Plasma-Wayland in Mageia 9 with the nvidia drivers. Not a new regression, so OK here.

Updated my production install on the hardware from comment 9 using drakrpm-update rather than drakx11. No installation issues. Rebooted, used it for a half hour or so, with no issues.
I think this one can go on out. Validating.
