Description Pierre Fortin 2025-07-09 01:53:48 CEST
The "drakrpm" program crashed. Drakbug-18.69 caught it.

Install & Remove Software
When text box appears, type just one character & crash

FATAL: could not convert value 211978240 to enum type GdkEventType at /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/Glib/Object/Introspection.pm line 161.

Also, start mcc & simply hitting close button crashes and outputs this to konsole:
Too late to run INIT block at /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/Glib/Object/Introspection.pm line 257.
Ignore the following Glib::Object::Introspection & Gtk3 warnings
Subroutine Gtk3::main redefined at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/Gtk3.pm line 539.
Attempt to call undefined import method with arguments (":helpers" ...) via package "ugtk3" (Perhaps you forgot to load the package?) at /usr/lib/libDrakX/ugtk3.pm line 1501.
"cannot run /usr/sbin/isodumper" since it is not installed [Writing ISO] at /usr/libexec/drakconf line 841.
Overriding existing handler for signal 10. Set JSC_SIGNAL_FOR_GC if you want WebKit to use a different signal

Same here. Also, running XFdrake gives almost identical result

Comment 4 Pierre Fortin 2025-07-09 18:58:26 CEST
Once Install & Remove is ready to accept input; typing one character produces this (which appears to have been missed by Drakbug):
Ignore the following Glib::Object::Introspection & Gtk3 warnings
Attempt to call undefined import method with arguments (":helpers" ...) via package "ugtk3" (Perhaps you forgot to load the package?) at /usr/lib/libDrakX/ugtk3.pm line 1501.
Subroutine Gtk3::main redefined at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/Gtk3.pm line 539.

Starting mcc and immediately hitting Close button produces the EXACT same output; also missed by Drakbug.

Strangely, when I repeat the open/close, it no longer crashes. Can reproduce the Install & Remove crash at will.

HTH

Resolution: DUPLICATE => FIXED

This is marked as fixed.. but where's the solution since I still have the problem.

Please help.
