As suggested by marja, I open new report for this issue When the blog have comments to moderate, I not receive notification by mail In the beginning of my road as contributor in spanish blog the mails come each time a new comment to moderate did arrive. If not can be fixed in direct way, perhaps we can use blog-moderation@ml.mageia.org to send the mails, that will have the drawback that the subscriber will receive notifications of 'foreign' language editions of the blog
Can you give an example of a message that you didn't get? Either pointing to a copy on ml.mageia.org or as an attachment?

(In reply to Dan Fandrich from comment #1) > Can you give an example of a message that you didn't get? Either pointing to > a copy on ml.mageia.org or as an attachment? The most recent is the pingback in https://blog.mageia.org/es/2024/10/08/la-mayoria-de-nuestros-servidores-estaran-fuera-de-linea-debido-a-su-traslado/ I approve the comment because I still was logged in the blog But I did not receive the mail notification
To trace what happened to a message I would need either a copy of the message headers (from a copy that someone else DID receive), or the exact time the message was sent.
The mails stopped arriving at blog-moderation@ml.mageia.org too. I was amazed to see replies to an older blog post in English that were still awaiting moderation. I just asked neoclust on IRC to take a look at the updates for the plugins that failed to install, maybe installing them helps. CC'ing him in case he didn't see that.

I tagged comment 5 as private, I think dfandrich will still be able to read it.
I can't see comment 5. I also know nothing about Wordpress. I'd be looking at it from the angle of a DKIM/SPF issue or an issue with the check_new-blog-post.sh script (which I thought was fixed 3 weeks ago).
...but I'm still not sure exactly what e-mails this bug is talking about yet.
(In reply to Dan Fandrich from comment #9) > ...but I'm still not sure exactly what e-mails this bug is talking about yet. mails like this one: https://ml.mageia.org/l/arc/blog-moderation/2024-10/msg00027.html That was the last English one that came through, on October 8, even if there were later replies, as can now be seen here: https://blog.mageia.org/en/2024/10/08/most-of-our-servers-will-be-offline-because-they-are-relocating/ katnatek stopped receiving his similar mails from the Spanish blog
(In reply to Dan Fandrich from comment #9) > ...but I'm still not sure exactly what e-mails this bug is talking about yet. I send the info in comment#5 by mail j.alberto.vc at gmail is my mail

Looks like was blocked considered as spam :P
I've now received a copy. It doesn't have the headers, but I think the link that Marja included gives me enough to start looking.
I don't see the e-mail address blog-moderation@m.o configured anywhere in Puppet, so any e-mails sent there look to be sent by some other system. The term "pingback" in the e-mail leads me to believe that someone has configured Wordpress to send these e-mails, and Wordpress seems not to be configured in Puppet but rather by a WP admin. The mail logs on the WP host don't go back far enough to see Marja's message, but the ones on sucuk do. The message was sent by the apache user from root@m.o That was the last message to blog-moderation sent from outside (there was another one, a digest, sent the next day by Sympa itself). There were been other messages sent from the WP host (neru) that were successfully delivered after that. In looking at the logs, it looks like the last message successfully sent from neru was on Oct 13 23:13:16 CET. After that (starting Oct 13 23:29:47) messages from neru are rejected as "not authenticated". Before that, they were allowed due to reason=client whitelist. This time frame corresponds to commit 6e05c39, a follow-up to "Adding Sender Rewriting Scheme in preparation of DKIM activation". So, it appears that mail from neru to sucuk was probably broken during the installation of DKIM. In fact, there are currently 255 messages on neru waiting to be delivered, including 8 "Please moderate..." messages.

hello, Adding DKIM and SRS to postfix config through puppet had a bad sad effect on secondary server. I think i fixed config in puppet... limiting those config blocks to primary server context. Let's see in the next hour if the update did the job.

It seems we forgot to tell that it did the job :-) Anyway, I have since many months not had a problem receiving blog moderation mails. @ katnatek, If you confirm it works for you, then this report can be closed
