I usually test this with Clipgrab and some Youtube video. I tried that before the update, and it worked. Tried again, this time under strace, and came up with three references to yt-dlp, so it IS at lease consulted. It worked after the update, as well. Same thing happened with a previous update, in March. It worked with Clipgrab both before and after the update, even though yt-dlp wasn't supposed to be working with Youtube. Makes me wonder... Oh, well. Validating, since the posted test procedure shows a fault has been corected.
