Description of problem: When migrating to Mageia 9, a script fails, thus the mga9 package can't be installed. The spec file contains a unpost section with: texconfig-sys rehash
Using dnf for uninstallation: Exécution du scriptlet: auto-multiple-choice-1.4.0-6.mga8.x86_64 1/85 /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.STYibL: ligne 1: texconfig-sys : commande introuvable attention : %postun(auto-multiple-choice-1.4.0-6.mga8.x86_64) scriptlet échoué, état de sortie 127 texconfig-sys doesn't exist, it is said.
The command should be: /usr/share/texmf-dist/scripts/texlive/mktexlsr from package texlive-collection-basic Updated in cauldron.

Thank you for the report, of which I am unsure exactly what package is at fault. The one in SRPM (M8), M9, Cauldron. Does this need to be corrected in M8 for upgrade to M9? In comment 2 - where is the command line you cite? Since you know what this is about, and have done something about it already, can we assign this to you for M9 &/or M8?

The command is line 89 and 92 : https://svnweb.mageia.org/packages/cauldron/auto-multiple-choice/current/SPECS/auto-multiple-choice.spec?view=markup#l89 Package in Mageia 8 and 9 are affected in the same manner, and there is an error when upgrading: https://www.mageialinux-online.org/forum/topic-30835-1+mageai9-une-erreur-durant-la-mise-a-jour.php#m314889 I don't know if this can be updated.
Confirmed during install and uninstall of auto-multiple-choice on m8. As the error during uninstall happens after the package is removed, it can and should be updated in both m8 and m9. While the same error will show during the normal updating for those installs, it's better to have it as part of a normal update then during an upgrade.

Is texlive-collection-basic-20200406-7.1.mga8.noarch.rpm part of this update?
Confirming the error is now generated when installing the update in m8, and that once the update is installed the m9 version installs cleanly over the m8 version. Adding ok tags for m9, but waiting for feedback on comment 10.

(In reply to Dave Hodgins from comment #10) > Is texlive-collection-basic-20200406-7.1.mga8.noarch.rpm part of this update? Hi Dave, No, it isn't. It's a new requirement because it provides the script used in post installation.
Thanks. Redid the test using qarepo instead of enabling updates testing as an updates repo. Validating
