hello everyone; I was registering a program with the "update-desktop-database" command and it showed me the following error
"Error in file "/usr/share/applications/thunderbird-compose.desktop": "all/allfiles" is an invalid MIME type ("all" is an unregistered media type) " I have reviewed the file "cat /usr/share/applications/thunderbird-compose.desktop" and it has shown me

I have not had appreciable errors with thunderbird so I give it as a minor error

Thank you Ricard for the report.
Unsure whether the fault is an invalid mime type in (see comment 0):
 /usr/share/applications/thunderbird-compose.desktop
[bug with Thunderbird]
or
That this mime type is valid, bug with update-desktop-database.

I guess the first is more likely, so assigning this to ns80 who nurses Thunderbird.

The thunderbird-composer can be used to do a right click on a file and open with this application which opens the composer window of thunderbird and add the selected file(s) in attachments.
So, it matches all files.

The all/allfiles is a mime type used by desktops for all files (and all/all for files and folders) but it is not registered so it has to be changed

I will change to:

-MimeType=all/allfiles
+MimeType=application/octet-stream

I have updated the system and now everything is correct.
Downloaded version thunderbird-compose-1.1-1.mga9.noarch.rpm
The problem can be closed.
