Thank you for the report.
Trying this initially under M7 LXDE, the steps are:
 MCC-Hardware-Configure graphics-Install graphics server
That gives a fully functional dialogue, keyboard shortcuts included for the menus, Tab and Up/Down arrows or mouse to select any of the 5 long buttons.

Doing the 'Test' fills the screen with a test pattern, and the dialogue in the middle has but 2 buttons, Yes|No.
The mouse pointer is indeed not visible; should it be, was it ever? Does it matter? This is a *video* test.
Your remark about the 'dialogue':
> no keyboard interaction on dialog window
is not true. Either button can be selected using Tab or the Left/Right arrow keys, and Enter works.

> nor shortcut keys enabled on Alt press
They are not indicated for the two buttons. Are you asking that Alt/x shortcuts be added for the 2 buttons? (Or perhaps there used to be, and are no longer).

I will see what happens on Mageia 8.
The real point of your complaint seems to be that on the Test screen, the mouse pointer is not in evidence to click either of the Yes|No buttons. And that no Alt/x shortcuts are offered. Is this correct?

Keyboard IS available to select Yes or No with arrow keys and Enter.
Not sure why mouse is not available.

After discussion, during which it was stated that these missing things were present long ago in the past, we agreed that:
- the mouse should be operative for the buttons; even though they are accessible via Tab and L|R arrow keys, this is not obvious.
- for the k/b, it was suggested that:
Enter should mean YES (but should recognise which button is active)
  Esc should mean NO
The solution to this could be simply to pre-select the YES button - if one can. And make that selection visible.
At present, neither button has initially a selected outline. The NO button seems to be the [invisibly] pre-selected one - apparently the one implemented by Enter; but this is not visible.
Once you have used Tab or -> or <- the selected button outline becomes visible and you know where you are; but not before.

The k/b short-cuts for the buttons requested are a luxury.
