Description Dimitrios Glentadakis 2020-05-21 07:03:26 CEST
Updated meteo-qt package from version 1.0 which doesn't work any more to the latest version 1.9.
I am the author of this application.

Meteo-qt shows the weather status and places an icon on the system tray.
The data provider is http://openweathermap.org.
After the different evolutions of the providers API, meteo-qt fails to fetch the data.
After execution, the icon is placed on the system tray and is searching for data without success

The version 1.9 solves this.

Mageia7, x86_64

$ meteo-qt
ERROR: Error: 401 Unauthorized
Try again later - 236 :searchcity

After the update the icon allowed settings to find and add a city. Subsequently clicking on the icon raised a popup window with detailed observations and forecasts for the default city and temperature estimates for four days ahead. Sunrise time agreed with my calculation, sunset was three minutes different, but that is par for the course. Neat.
