Description of problem:
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Retrieve the default homepage when the browser is launched.
When you launch Firefox, you get the mageia.org site as your home page instead of the Firefox site (search area, shortcut to websites). This operation is problematic because the user cannot use Firefox options to restore this default behavior except for the launch of a new tab. At this stage, when opening the browser, you can either force a site to display via its url or have a blank page.
It seems to me more suitable to promote mageia.org and this in order not to disturb our users, either to rely on the MageiaWelcome tool, or to have a shortcut on the home page by default firefox.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Run firefox with a new profile (firefox -p) to restore default operation

Default homepage desired (works for a new tab)
ok i understand,
what would be nice would be to not modify "Firefox home" but create a new default page "Mageia Home"
I am right ?
Yes, to correct the anomaly, the easiest way is probably to choose the solution to create a Mageia homepage without altering the firefox homepage.
Assigning to all packagers collectively, since there is no registered maintainer for Firefox.

In the meantime, the workaround to the problem is as follows:
1) At the url bar, enter "about:config"
2) Search for the variable "browser.startup.homepage"
3) Replace the value of the variable set to "data:text/plain,browser.startup.homepage=https://www.mageia.org/" with "about:home"
4)Save the change.
