Hello, The package python-cryptography-2.3.1-1.mga6.x86_64 can't be upgraded/installed due to missing dependancy. During an upgrade, i was proposed by mgapplet to upgrade the package. Unfortunatly, i got the following message: "A requested package cannot be installed: python-cryptography-2.3.1-1.mga6.x86_64 (due to unsatisfied pythonegg(2)(asn1crypto)[>= 0.21.0])" I notice that a package named "python2-asn1crypto-0.22.0-1.mga6.noarch.rpm" is in the updates_testing repository. Should it not be in the updates repository ? Not tried to install package manually.
Last year, joequant imported python-asn1crypto in cauldron and in June this year, kekepower pushed it to 6/backports_testing and 6/updates_testing. However, I can't find a bug report for QA team with the request to test those packages. Assigning to the python maintainers and CC'ing joequant and kekepower.
Summary: Package python-cryptography-2.3.1-1.mga6.x86_64 can't be upgraded due to missing dependancy => python-asn1crypto is needed in 6/updates because package python-cryptography-2.3.1-1.mga6.x86_64 can't be upgraded due to missing dependancyAssignee: bugsquad => pythonCC: (none) => joequant, marja11, smelror
Bruno, please see this issue with the python-cryptography update

I think we should amend the BR https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23339 to include that dep, so that both are pushed correctly. I've pushed python-asn1crypto again in mga6 updates_testing
