Description of problem: The menu entry for rpmdrake in application menu is not shown, which may cause confusion for novice users. Seems the commit which added this "feature" is from quite some time ago: http://gitweb.mageia.org/software/desktop/common-data/commit/?id=fcbca5517dc116314529d34ebc25b0e8ea31252e Also, when checking via kmenuedit, one can see a toplevel menu item for rpmdrake, but one cannot make it actually show up in the menu. The question is, is there any sane reason why we should hide our main software management app from the application menu, because I can't think of any. And "we already have drakconf as menu item" is not really a valid reason to me, if somebody just wants to start software management, why would he have to go via MCC if we already ship a menu entry for rpmdrake, just because we do not display it? The other question, where should the rpmdrake menu entry be shown? Same as all the others (rpmdragora, dnfdragora, gnome-software) - below Tools > System Settings ? FWIW, test was done on mga6 using Plasma.
