Description of problem: I have in my hard drive some DVD backups made a long time ago with dvdshrink, in previous versions of vlc all the menus were navigable. In current cauldron version they aren't; i select one menu and nothing happens. Not sure if is a issue with vlc or libdvdnav Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): vlc-3.0.0-0.git.14.mga6.tainted.src.rpm libdvdnav-5.0.3-2.mga6.src.rpm How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open VLC 2. In Media select Open Disc (Ctrl+D) 3. Browse to a folder containing DVD structure (one containing VIDEO_TS folder) 4. Select and choose Play 5. Once you reached the main menu try to choose any menu except "Play the movie" 6. Nothing happens

Assigning to VLC, because it has a registered maintainer, while libdvdnav doesn't. CC'ing joeghi, because, IINM, he has relevant knowledge.

Today updates improves a little, in some backups i can browse all menus, in others just part, in one enter to submenu but get stuck, and even in one don't enter to submenu (try to charge but stuck)
Look like is the structure (or some copy protection not removed) of some DVD I create a custom DVD with DVDStyler and the navigation works. But the windows version (in windows) of vlc works well with one of my problematic DVD backup (only have that one when i make the test), so maybe a regression of some type.
I found something, not sure this is the issue but https://mailman.videolan.org/pipermail/libdvdcss-devel/2016-April/001641.html
