Description Jérôme Hénin 2015-08-13 15:21:38 CEST
Description of problem:

After KDE has been running for a while, all disk access by KDE programs becomes suddenly very slow, without increased CPU usage, as if waiting for a resource. Starting a program like Dolphin, or opening an "Open File" dialog then takes about a minute instead of a few seconds at most.
Non-KDE programs (eg. Gimp) are not affected.
Logging out and back into KDE fixes the problem, until it happens again.

For information, I have disabled the file indexing service of KDE.

I'll be happy to provide more info as needed.

How reproducible:
Somewhat erratic, but always happens after a few hours of us, sometimes after a few minutes.

I noticed a DBUS error message:
dolphin(19907)/kdecore (K*TimeZone*): KSystemTimeZones: ktimezoned
initialize() D-Bus call failed: "Did not receive a reply. Possible causes
include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security
policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection
was broken."

This makes it look very much like an instance of the following KDE bug: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=331857

Some info from .xsession-errors:

When the problem occurs, I get thousands of times this:
Error response: "The name org.kde.bluedevilmonolithic was not provided by any .service files"

Then a bunch of times this:
Error response: "Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken."

This looks like a duplicate of bug 16072.
Please, could you try to update lib64bluedevil2-2.1 and bluedevil to
lib64bluedevil2-2.1-1.1.mga5.x86_64.rpm
bluedevil-2.1.1-1.mga5.x86_64.rpm
from mga5 core/updates_testing (these packages are currently in validation by QA team).

KDE bug is very similar to the previous bugs of the past. All the issues of the bugs and https://www.assignmenthelper.com.au/assignment-help-sydney/ have been enlightened for the team for all issues of the programs. The system is enhanced by the removal of the bugs and tips for society.
