Description Derek Jennings 2011-06-05 21:13:35 CEST
Description of problem:
Pressing the Update button in msec-gui does nothing

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
msec-gui-0.80.10-2.mga1

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start mcc in a terminal navigate to msec-gui
2.Press the Update button
3.Observe the terminal says it is trying to start 'MandrivaUpdate'

As a workaround create a symlink from /usr/sbin/MageiaUpdate to /usr/sbin/MandrivaUpdate

This is just a string at the beginning of /usr/share/msec/tools.py

Part of msec rpm

Confirmed that when it is changed to MageiaUpdate, it works.

msec currently has no maintainer though :(

Thanks dmorgan

Tested x86_64 & i586, all OK

As this is now part of bug 2255 I will close and add to the advisory there.
