Description Yuri Brambeus 2015-04-14 10:46:34 CEST
Description of problem:

Tried to install Mageia 5 beta 3 along existing Win8 installation.
Installer created /etc/fstab with existing NTFS partitions, which is nice.
But first boot failed because said NTFS partitions are in 'unsafe' state because
Win8 was hibernated instead of full shut-down.

In order to boot Mageia I had to manually edit /etc/fstab to comment out NTFS partitions.

Suggestion: add 'nofail' flag to NTFS partitions in /etc/fstab or even totally ignore these partitions in installer so that novice user at least can complete first boot into mageia.
