Description Bjarne Thomsen 2015-01-16 22:00:42 CET
Description of problem:
Trying to run ./configure in dnscrypt-proxy-1.4.3/ in Mageia-4 configure
stops with the above alarming ERROR in ld.
I had no apparent problems with the same operation in mga5/cauldron.
Any ideas? The full line was:

I tried to downgrade to binutils-2.24-3: the same result.
Comment 3 Bjarne Thomsen 2015-01-17 05:11:28 CET
Apparently this is a known bug. A workaround is
./configure --disable-pie
