Description of problem:
On real hardware, M5, KDE, 64-bit with an nvidia frame buffer
from a USB stick during the special install of the proprietary
nvidia video driver the following error message is displayed:
"The proprietary driver was not properly installed,
defaulting to free software driver."
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GF108 [GeForce GT 440] (rev a1)
Subsystem: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd Device 3518
Kernel driver in use: nouveau
Kernel modules: nvidiafb, nouveau, nvidia_current
From MCC -> Hardware -> Set up the graphical server
attempting to set it up from there results in the following error message:
"Could not install the x11-driver-video-nvidia-current package"
Steps to Reproduce:
This comes from 32bit deps not being filtered out properly anymore
Fixed in nvidia-current-340.46-2.mga5
similar fixes also done for nvidia304-304.123-5.mga5 and fglrx-14.201-2.mga5
and the fixes will be in next beta1 iso builds
Yep, installed ok for me with the latest 5beta1.
