Perhaps it is an problem with the geometry of my ssd (partitions made with fdisk):

[root@localhost magnusrc]# LC_ALL=c fdisk -l

/dev/sda10 106961952 115346431 4192240 83 Linux

The error message doesn't appear with another installation on a sata hd.

Message also appears with new user and xguest with the ssd installation

It's probably related to #662, in fact & it's more an upstream bug.
Comment 3 Edgar Johansen 2011-07-02 11:25:23 CEST
Also seen on Thinkpad T60 installed from mageia-dvd-1-i586.iso.

Ok it seems in fact that it's not specific to kde at all (since LXDE is affected too (bug #2781).
I'm reassiging to bugsquad & removing kdelibs4 as rpm.

Isn't this just a matter of adding the directories .local/share/
to /etc/skel/?

Comment 8 John Balcaen 2011-11-20 00:23:59 CET
Ok i just found a patch in kdelibs 4.7 branch so i'll apply to our kdelibs in mageia 1 cf https://projects.kde.org/projects/kde/kdelibs/repository/revisions/f67c4d76139d85968f17284fa6ba4b00adacf62b

(so it will be at least fixed on kde :o )
