Description Samuel Verschelde 2011-02-12 00:58:01 CET
Mandriva's bugzilla does that, notification mail subjects are easier to read in a mail client.

For any product :
- give the component
- for the Package component, give the RPM (stripped from version, e.g. virtualbox instead of virtualbox-4.0.1-2mga1.src.rpm)

I don't know how Mandriva's bugzilla has it working.

Not hard to do. I wrote such an extension for GCC Bugzilla.

@Frederic: where is such extension ?
Comment 6 Frédéric "LpSolit" Buclin 2013-02-20 22:51:29 CET
http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=49935

It was written for 4.0, but it should still work fine for 4.4. You will have to extract the relevant parts of the extension, of course. It does much more than just that.
Comment 7 Samuel Verschelde 2013-08-26 19:12:56 CEST
What do you think? We keep it open and do it one day or just consider we are happy the way it is now and close it, thus reducing the number of open issues in bugzilla by one?
Comment 8 Samuel Verschelde 2015-06-02 15:45:54 CEST
I think we'll leave things as is.
