Description Jose Manuel López 2014-02-21 07:42:22 CET
I have two sound cards:
- Internal analog-Audio.
- GF108 High Definition Audio

Always the second is by default, and I have no sound in the system. If I go into preferences and put Internal analog-Audio first choice, I have sound, but the logout or reboot, it gets to lose the default settings and gets GF108. I tried to turn it off from pavucontrol and there's no way I save the configuration.engo dos tarjetas de sonido,: -Audio interno analógico. - GF108 High Definition Audio

It is in KDE desktop, sound settings are not saved when you change them, the system detects me two drivers sound, internal Intel and Nvidia card. Only sounds when I select the Intel card, but the problem is that when I sign the applied configuration is lost.

I will still be able to resolve this bug, I tried with a clean install, with the full DVD. I tried to install different desktops, and I think the same mistake. Not set up well the drivers of sound, and when I go into settings and make it work, to start again, you delete the selected configuration.

I think it is a bug in Mageia 4 base, because I do not moves with version 3, and version 4 I've tried everything...

After all , thanks to the community blogdrake.net , I was unable to fix the error. Apparently, it's kernel problem that conflicts with the two audio cards , because the same driver for both applies . The solution is to disable kernel Nvidia card with the instructions given to me in the community, and disable pulseaudio .

Indian below steps for resolution :

1. Identify cards ( lspci | grep -i audio)
Two . Search / sys / devices the correct input card ( find / sys / devices -name * data : of : the : card)
Three . Create / edit the rc.local file to disable the card in question ( echo 1 > / sys / devices / pci / data : of : the : card / data : of : the : card / remove)

It would be useful for future versions this bug is fixed.

Also Indian yarn holder blogdrake.net community to see all records and the steps followed .

I fixed the bug by , and hopefully settle it for future releases.

Greetings .
