Description of problem: M4 Beta2 prerelease rounds 1 and 2: Choosing the memtest boot function is not ok, it says "Press F1 for failsafe, press F2 for ... SMP", but F1 reboots and F2 causes the machine to freeze and it needs to be reset How reproducible: always Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:

I should have written also: if you wait long enough and not choose F1 or F2 the machine also reboots.
Do you still have the same with latest isos?
Sure. As per http://bn.parinux.org/p/mageia4beta2 line #287
Applies to 4RC first round classical 64-bit iso

iso will need a rebuild to be fixed (as rpm is)
can you confirm this bug is fixed ?
It looks not, I see same attachment as the blocker bugs https://bugs.mageia.org/attachment.cgi?id=4612 Could it be that last image from memtest is not in iso ? (don't know how to check, md5 maybe ?)
It is not fixed: F1 and escape still reboots, F2 still freezes the system: hard reset needed.
my bad. Integration of new isolinux is not all automatized for now so it needs some more manual steps and memtest was not updated in isos. added in script so that it can be done for next one.
Yes with current round of iso's it is fixed.
