4beta1 Classic DVD 64 (not tested this computer with i586 yet) 3rd build Nov 5th

HDMI connected monitor, 1920x1080, is not being recognised/configured. It asks to choose a monitor and has to be manually configured.

Do you mean only in the installer not recognised?

What resolution do you get later in the installed system when you go with the default, which should be plug&play? Or what default is shown in your case?

I have an HDMI connected monitir with same resolution recognized okay (although I must admit it is *also* vga connected to enable dkm-switching to old systems jointly using same display), so AFAICT XFdrake is okay presently in Cauldron for this type if monitor.

@eeeemail@gmail.com: please close as OLD if this is okay with you, or, alternatively, since pre-5 installers will not be fixed, please change whiteboard to '5beta1' or higher and wipe the NEEDINFO. Thanks.

Removing from the Mageia 5 tracker as this has not been confirmed in Mageia 5 Cauldron.
