Neither the new M4A3 Live-DVD 32-bit KDE nor the install from it seems to be able to connect to my eth0. Testing is on real hardware. Hardware is: Intel, P4 530J 3.0 GHz, 800MHz FSB, 1MB L2, LGA 775 GigaByte GA-81915G Pro F4 i915G LGA 775 MoBo Marvel Yukon 88E8001 Gigabit LAN Intel High Def Audio, Azalia (C-Media 9880) (snd-hda-intel) Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900 (Intel 82915G) Same platform works fine with M3. Removable hard drive system. I have attached the ifconfig from both the M4A3 and M3 Unfortunately I won't be able to get back to this until Sat evening, California time. It appears, at least on one test here, that the network connection works when you are testing inside VirtualBox.
Are you aware that network device names have been changed on new installs? https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Feature:NetworkDeviceNameChange I think that this is still wip. See also bug#11101
Yep, I was ok in M4A2 now not ok. This is probably a dup of 11101. Why no problem in Vbox?
M4A3 64-bit Live-DVD on my Dell laptop works just fine with the wired eth0 connection. iso is on a USB stick.
I've a successful install, and eth0 connect, using the M4A3 Classic Installer, KDE 32-bit and the hardware described in Description above.
Latest version of M4A3 Live-DVD 32-bit KDE shows that this bug has been resolved.
