Using default KDE on a new Mageia installation with Evolution installed. Entering all the mail POP and SMTP details works OK but when I ask Evolution to get mail it locks up after showing the getting mail popup window. I fixed this by using Seahorse to setup a new Gnome-keyring. It appears that Evolution expects a default keyring to exist before it can call to gnome-keyring successfully and by default the Mageia installation does not create one. After I had Seahorse save a default keyring, Evolution would correctly ask for my mail password before trying to download mail. Everything is now working correctly.

I can confirm this bug on Mageia 4 Alpha 2 and Gnome-keyring with mail-notification. After install of Gnome-keyring, the folder ~/local/share/keyrings is empty. Mail-notification does not work, gnome-keyring does not ask to store the passwords. But gnome-keyring is running. Bug did not exist with multiple installs of Mageia 3. Fixed it by copy my entries in ~/local/share/keyrings from my Mageia 3 installation to my Mageia 4 Alpha 2 installation. Everything works fine again.

Gnome-keyring was updated today, but still the keyrings-folder is empty after clean install. Mail-notification works only with described workaround.
